OMEGA congratulates André and Solar Impulse on reaching Hawaii

After five days and nights crossing the Pacific, the Solar Impulse flight has completed its most challenging mission so far.

The 8th leg of the Solar Impulse round-the-world journey was considered to be the project’s “moment of truth”, so it is with great joy that we can now celebrate success.

Pilot André Borschberg endured a flight with very little sleep, but in completing the task, he made aviation history, as well as setting a new world record for a solo endurance flight.
